Hi, I'm Ram. I'm a principal software engineer at Microsoft, working on power and performance for systems-on-chip. I like problems that cross the boundaries between silicon, firmware, and operating systems.
Work
I lead SoC core power and performance development in Microsoft's Silicon & Systems group. My work includes platform bring-up, software design, and working across teams to turn silicon into a product. Before Microsoft, I spent nearly six years at Qualcomm, progressing from software engineer to staff software engineer.
Things I Do Outside Work
In the spare moments I can find, I rotate between making things, getting outside, flying the drone, and unwinding with a game.
